In Mauritania, a dishonesty affair is dangerening to put the country’s anti-migration partnership with the European Union at danger. At least 11 police officers and two traffickers have been accengaged of adselecting bribes from sub-Saharan African migrants in swap for their free. A beginant dispenseigation by recentspapers Le Monde and El Pais has uncovered allegations of payoff and dishonesty at the hands of Mauritanian authorities. FRANCE 24’s Caitlin Kelly has more.
