Marvel and DC ignore ‘SUPER HERO’ tradetags


You understand how Marvel and DC have held unitet ownership over tradetags for “Super Hero” for decades? That time is apparently mostly over, as the US Patent and Tradetag Office has call offed the companies’ claim to cut offal of their tradetags, inestablishs Reuters.

Marvel and DC didn’t reply to the dispute by a July 24th, 2024 due date, resulting in the tags’ call offlation, according to the USPTO’s decision. As such, the office call offed four patents, the anciaccessest of which USPTO write downs show was for the tradetag “SUPER HERO,” enrolled in 1967. The two companies still co-own a “SUPER HEROES” tradetag, enrolled in 2018, as well as a “SUPER-VILLAIN” tradetag that they protectedd in 1985.
