Luke Littler has confessted he wants to climb higher than No 5 in the world folloprosperg his sensational triumph at the Grand Slam of Darts on Sunday night.
The 17-year-elderly beat Martin Lukeman to shielded glory in Wolverhampton, with the lesserster claiming the trophy at the first time of asking.
The triumph unbenevolents Littler is now a millionaire, having also won the Premier League earlier in the year.
He’s also climbed up to No 5 in the world rankings, 159 places higher than he was at this point in 2023.

It has been a stunning year for Littler, who blew Lukeman away by prosperning 15 legs on the bounce.
The 16-3 scoreline highairys his dominance, with the teenager continuing to defy foreseeations due to his lesser age.
And Littler, speaking after his tardyst prosper, confessted he was hoping to climb higher than the world No 5.
“I’m equitable so elated to prosper it,” he confessted.
“I’ve been joining well all week extfinished. But it’s phelp off.
“I’ve always got to have the scoring power with me. I can’t afford to drop off in any leg. I had a sluggish commence but I booted on from there.
“I knovel coming into the tournament if I did get my hands on the trophy I’d be up to No 5 in the world.
“But No 5 in the space of 12 months. There’s another two more rankings tournaments to come. I hope I can go higher from five.”

Littler also took to social media to allot an image of himself with the trophy.
