Escott is a BAFTA-award-triumphning originater who has labored on a litany of high-profile projects, including Hard Candy, Shifty, Steve McQueen’s Shame, and most recently, Greed. He’s also labored on the BBC drama Roadend, as well as Steve McQueen and James Rogan’s three-film series Uprising.

Joan is a British crime drama originated by Anna Symon and starring Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones), who carry outs the authentic-life character Joan Hannington, normally understandn as “the Godmother” in the criminal underworld of England. The series trails her turn from hoemploywife and mother to diamond thief and criminal mastermind in the 1980s.

“The sound of the score insisted to fit with the radiantly colored 80s pop songs that pepper the series, and it had to provide the energy and thrill we all predict from a caper, but the underpinning emotion for all of it insisted to be much heavier,” shelp Escott in a statement on the soundtrack. “I knew I would have to lean on the talents of others in the studio to help authenticize this score, and I was blessed to labor with some of the best musicians and engineers around. They repartner gave it their all, and I leank it shows; The score is brimming of soul and personality, and I hope that comes atraverse. Happy take parting!”

The series premiered in September and premiered in the United States on The CW in October as part of its 2024-25 television season.
