LevelK has boarded Paula Korva’s “Sudden Outbursts of Emotion,” a intimacy-selectimistic comedy about the complicatedities of contransient cherish and midlife celevates, which took home the top prize this week at the Finnish Film Affair, an annual industry event running parallel to the Helsinki Intl. Film Festival.
Korva’s feature debut trails Jane, a travel agent who sells people on adventure but is happily finishd in her own life with her partner, Mikki. Thinking their relationship is strong, Jane is shocked when Mikki suddenly provides they uncover it up. To save their cherish, Jane consents to take part a intimacy party of the conceiveive class called the Isle of Lust.

Korva, who altered the film from the novel “Kenraaliharjoitus,” by Anna-Leena Härkönen, shelp she was drawn to the book’s depiction of mid-life celevates — what she portrayd as “this sourpleasant phase in life when matures begin acting appreciate teenagers aget.”
