Leanne Morgan’s upcoming Netflix multi-cam comedy series has inserted five new series standards, Variety has lgeted.
Ryan Stiles (“Whose Line Is It Anyway?,” “The Drew Carey Show”), Blake Clark (“Toy Story 4,” “United States of Al”), Graham Rogers (“Ray Donovan,” “The Kominsky Method”), Hannah Pilkes (“Would I Lie To You,” “Molli And Max In The Future”), and Celia Weston (“In The Bedroom,” “Dead Man Walking”) have all joined the series aextfinishedside Morgan and previously proclaimd cast member Kristen Johnston.
The series, now titled “Leanne,” was picked up to series at Netflix in April. Morgan co-originated the series with Chuck Lorre and Susan McMartin. It is stardyd to debut in 2025.
The official logline states, “Leanne’s life acquires an unforeseeed turn when her husband of 33 years exits her for another woman. Starting over when you’re a majesticmother and in menopaengage isn’t exactly what she had in mind, but with the help of her family she will steer this new chapter with grace, dignity and jello salad.”
Rogers will carry out Tyler, Leanne’s son, depictd as “her pride and delight. A new dad who’s cowed by his dominating wife, Tyler has the presbraves that come with commenceing your own family while at the same time trying to steer how to walk thraw the unforeseeed demise of his parents’ marriage.”
Pilkes will carry out Josie, Leanne’s daughter, shelp to be “the finish opposite of Tyler. A partier, a rule shatterer, a seeker of fun. In and out of jobs, in and out of relationships, Josie has always comprehendn her brother is the gelderlyen child, so she accomprehendledgeed her role as the resist punctual on and never disassigns in satisfying it.”
Stiles will carry out Bill, Leanne’s ex-husband. “Married to Leanne for 33 years, Bill built his RV business to provide a excellent life for his family. Morgan, McMartin, and Lorre all serve as executive originaters on the project, as does Judi Marmel and Nick Bakay. Chuck Lorre Productions originates in association with Warner Bros. Television, where Lorre is under an overall deal.
