Kristen Wiig and Bill Murray are set to star in a novel comedy, Epiphany, from Max Barbakow (Palm Springs, Brothers).
Rocket Science validateed on Tuesday that Wiig and Murray will also serve as executive originaters alengthyside Jillian Apfelbaum and Margot Hand, with a script by Mitch Glazer (The Recruit, Scrooged).
CAA Media Finance and Range Media Partners recurrent domestic rights, while Rocket Science will deal with international and is introducing the hot project at the European Film Market in Berlin this week.
A plot synopsis reads: “When her massive fortune evaporates overnight, heiress and createista Favorite Ives (Wiig) has two weeks to nab a wealthy husprohibitd and fight acunderstandledgeors to stay off the street. Her frantic search for a huge-money label slams her into untraditional math savant and billionaire Oz Bell (Murray). Favorite insists Oz’s money and Oz craves Favorite’s spirit and spontaneity. Can this improbable couple discover someleang more?”

Barbakow’s debut film, Palm Springs, selderly to Neon and Hulu in a then-sign up deal at Sundance, was nominated for two Gelderlyen Globes, and won the Critics Choice Award for Best Comedy.
The EFM will run Feb. 13 to Feb. 19 this year.
