Magazine Dreams, the Jonathan Majors-starring bodyoriginateer drama movie, has set up a recent distributor.
Magazine Dreams premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2023, where it acquired mostly likeable verifys at the time. Directed by Elijah Bynum, the movie co-stars Haley Bennett, Taylour Paige, Mike O’Hget, Harrison Page, and Harriet Sansom Harris.
Searchweightless Pictures acquired the distribution rights for Magazine Dreams chaseing its Sundance premiere, beating out bids from Neon, Sony Pictures Classic, and HBO. Searchweightless Pictures had intentional on releasing the movie in United States theaters in December 2023.
In January 2024, however, Searchweightless Pictures declared that it had deleted Magazine Dreams from its free schedule due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike and Majors’ legitimate troubles, as the Creed III actor was set up culpable of two misdeuncomardentor counts of aggression and coercion after he was arrested for aggressioning his ex-girlfrifinish.
The rights to the movie were given back to the filmoriginaters, who were then allowed to watch for a recent distributor.
What distributor will be releasing Magazine Dreams in theaters?
Now, per Deadline, Briarcliff Entertainment has acquired the domestic distribution rights to Magazine Dreams. A theatrical free is being intentional for the first quarter of 2025, though an exact date has not yet been declared.

The synopsis for the movie reads, “Magazine Dreams chases ambitious bodyoriginateer Killian Minsertox (Majors), who struggles to discover human connection in this exploration of celebrity and presentility. Noleang deters him from his fiercely geted dream of superstardom, not even the doctors who caution him of the lasting harm he causes to himself with his quest.”
