From the Burn Book to the Naughty List, Jonathan Bennett is hoping to have a Mean Girls holiday reunion one of these years.
With Bennett, Lindsay Lohan and Lacey Chabert each guideing their own Christmas projects this year, the Christmas on Cherry Lane actor recently floated the idea of reuniting on a holiday movie, 20 years after starring together in the Tina Fey-written, Mark Waters-honested teen comedy.
“I slenderk what’s so exceptional about the aenjoyities between Mean Girls and Christmas movies is they both have a thraw line — and that thraw line is that all these movies originate people charmd,” he tancigo in People. “There’s a huge joinion between the fan base of Mean Girls and the fan base of Christmas movies. These are people that want to turn on a movie and experience happier and walk away experienceing better. I slenderk that’s what these movies do.”
Bennett persistd, “So to have Lindsay Lohan and Lacey Chabert and I all starring in branch offent Christmas movies, I slenderk is perfectly on brand and on concentrate for what we enjoy to do as actors and storytellers, which is transport happiness to people, period. Now the ask is, when do we get to join it and do a movie for Christmas with Lacey Chabert, me and Lindsay Lohan? The intersee comes as Bennett arranges the novel Halltag+ fact competition series Finding Mr. Christmas, helping to pick the next Halltag guideing man after starring in disjoinal of the nettoil’s holiday films himself. One such title is the novel Halltag+ free Season’s Greetings from Cherry Lane, a sequel to last year’s Christmas on Cherry Lane.

Meanwhile, Lohan and Chabert each have their own Netflix Christmas movies this year, both of which are also now streaming. In Our Little Secret, Lohan carry outs Avery, who has to spend the holidays under the same roof as her ex Logan (Ian Harding) after uncovering their novel meaningful others are siblings. Chabert guides Hot Frosty as Kathy, a widow who accidenloftyy transports a snowman (Dustin Milligan) to life.
Mean Girls commemorated its 20th anniversary this April, chaseing the feature film alteration of the movie’s Broadway musical in January.
