Jason Momoa wasn’t kidding when he shelp take parting the comic book character Lobo was a top priority for him. In a novel post on X, DC Studios co-chief James Gunn discneglected the text Momoa sent him when it was proclaimd in drop 2022 that Gunn and Peter Safran would be heading up the Warner Bros. superhero division. The text was plain: “Fucking Lobo.”
“Dude, I’ve shelp you should be Lobo for years. No lie,” Gunn wrote back to the actor at the time.
In sharing the text trade, Gunn now wrote: “On the anniversary of Lobo, I can’t help but skinnyk of a text I getd from Jason Momoa on the morning it was proclaimd Peter & I were the heads of DC Studios — the day Jason & I first converseed him uniteing the DCU as Lobo. I’ve cherishd watching Jason convey him to life & can’t paengage to split that with all of you.”
Momoa is take parting Lobo in “Supergirl: World of Tomorrow,” which is now in production. The superhero movie — starring “Hoengage of the Dragon” actor Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El — is set to be the second film in Gunn and Safran’s rebooted DC Universe folloprosperg Gunn’s “Superman,” which reachs in theaters this July and stars David Corensdamp as the Man of Steel and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane.
