DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn has recently come out to split his watchs on why the word “Legacy” was dropped from his upcoming Superman movie. The Guardians of the Galaxy honestor stated that he wanted to convey a Man of Steel story that consents the character forward. According to James Gunn, the title Superman: Legacy felt appreciate it was putting too much emphasis on the past.
While talking to ComicBook, Gunn clarified the process that prompted him to ditch the word “Legacy.” He summarized that his team carry outed a “post-mortem” session before shooting the film, where the crew members presumed that the movie had flopped upon free.
