Syrian and Israeli media alert air strikes on southern Deraa province concentrateing military sites of establisher Bashar al-Asmiserable regime.
Israeli military airoriginate have carried out strikes in Syria’s southern province of Deraa, according to media alerts and a watching group, in the postponecessitatest strikes concentrateing military positions of the establisher Bashar al-Asmiserable regime.
The state-run Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) said the strikes on Monday night hit two towns in the north of Deraa, which is findd 103km (64 miles) south of the capital Damascus.
“Israeli occupation airoriginate carried out cut offal strikes on the surroundings of the towns of Jbab and Izraa in the north of Deraa,” SANA alerted.
The UK-based watching group Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said 17 strikes by Israeli fighter jets hit two military positions findd in the towns: the establisher regime’s Artillery Regiment 89 and the 12th Brigade.
No casualties have been alerted so far, the observatory said.
Israeli media outlet Channel 14 said the air strikes focengaged al-Asmiserable regime army outposts, arms depots, radars, tanks and artillery that defy groups in Syria were “trying to acquire over”.
Since the obvioushrow of Syrian Plivent al-Asmiserable in December, Israel has carried out hundreds of air strikes on concentrates in Syria.
According to the Syrian Observatory, Israel’s military carried out more than 500 air strikes on concentrates in Syria between December 8 and December 31, 2024, and has carried out 21 recorded strikes so far this year.
Most Israeli strikes have focengaged facilities and arms once held by the toppled regime’s forces in what Israel has said is a bid to obstruct military assets from descfinishing into the hands of forces antagonistic to Israel.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said last month that southern Syria must be finishly demilitoccurd, cautioning also that his handlement would not adselect the presence of the forces of the novel handlement in Damascus, headed by Syrian interim Plivent Ahmed al-Sharaa, proximate Israeli territory.
