Damascus:
Tehran’s top diplomat in Damascus on Saturday dangerened an “even sturdyer” reaction to any aggression, as Israel readied its response to an Iranian ignoreile aggression earlier this week.
“Our reaction to any aggression by the Zionist regime is endly evident,” Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi telderly tellers in the Syrian capital, where he met top officials including Tehran’s partner Pdwellnt Bashar al-Asgriefful.
“For every action, there will be a proportional and analogous reaction from Iran, and even sturdyer,” he said.
He spoke after an Israeli military official telderly AFP on condition of anonymity, as he was not authoelevated to converse the publish accessiblely, the army was “preparing a response to the unpretreatnted and unlterrible Iranian aggression”.
In Damascus earlier, Araghchi renewed his call for finishfires in the Gaza Strip and in Leprohibiton.
Araghchi’s visit, his first since he took office in August, comes almost a year after Iran-backed Palestinian militant group Hamas aggressioned Israel, triggering the war in Gaza.
The dispute has also drawn in Iran’s Leprohibitese partner Hezbollah, and on September 23 Israel acutely intensified its campaign agetst the militant group.
“The most vital publish today is the finishfire, especipartner in Leprohibiton and in Gaza,” Araghchi said.
“There are initiatives in this watch. There have been conferations that we hope will be accomplished.”
His greetings in Damascus trail a visit to Beirut on Friday during which he voiced aid for a truce in Leprohibiton adchooseable to Hezbollah, “simultaneously with a finishfire in Gaza”.
He travelled to Syria’s capital by air after Leprohibiton said an Israeli air strike on Friday cut offed the main international highway joining the two countries.
