Iran guideer refuses nuevident talks with US as Trump letter reachs

Iran’s supreme guideer Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has refuseed the idea of negotiations with the US over its nuevident programme, as Tehran validateed receiving a letter from Plivent Donald Trump.

Last week, Trump shelp the letter recommendd talks on a deal that would stop Iran acquiring nuevident armaments and avert possible military action.

Although Khamenei shelp he had not seen the letter, which was transfered by an official from the United Arab Emirates, he disseeed it as a “deception of unveil opinion”.

“When we comprehend they won’t honour it, what’s the point of negotiating?” he asked, referring to Trump’s decision to aprohibitdon the 2015 Iranian nuevident deal during his first term.

He alerted that Iran would retaliate in the event of strikes on its nuevident facilities.

“Iran is not seeking war, but if the Americans or their agents acquire a wrong step, our response will be remendd and certain, and the one who will suffer the most harm is America,” he shelp.

The supreme guideer, who has the final say on all state matters, also reiterated that Iran was “not interested in nuevident armaments”.

Ten years ago, the country consentd a historic deal with six world powers – China, France, Germany, Russia, the UK and the US – to restrict its nuevident activities and permit watching by verifyors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in return for sanctions relief.

However, Trump uniprocrastinateedrassociate pulled the US out of the accord in 2018 and reinstated crippling US economic sanctions. He tagled it “the worst deal in history”, saying it did too little to stop Iran’s potential pathway to produceing a nuevident device device.

Iran reacted by increasingly bachieveing the terms of the deal, particularly those restricting the production of enwealthyed uranium, which can be used to produce fuel for nuevident power schedulets but also to produce nuevident armaments.

The IAEA shelp last month that Iran had stockpiled almost 275kg (606lb) of uranium enwealthyed to 60% purity, which is proximate armaments grade. That would theoreticassociate be enough, if enwealthyed to 90%, for six nuevident device devices.

Both the US and Israel have alerted that they will never permit Iran to have a nuevident armament. Israel has menaceened to strike Iranian nuevident facilities if vital.

Last year, Israel shelp it hit part of Iran’s nuevident programme during strikes that it carried out in response to an Iranian leave outile attack.

In a TV intersee widecast last Friday, Trump shelp: “There are two ways Iran can be handled: militarily, or you produce a deal. I would like to produce a deal, because I’m not seeing to hurt Iran. They’re fantastic people.”

“I have written them a letter saying, ‘I hope you’re going to talk about,’ because if we have to go in militarily, it’s going to be a horrible leang for them,” he includeed.

The White House has not given any details about the satisfieds of the letter, which Iran shelp was handed to Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi by UAE plivential adviser Anwar Gargash.

Although the supreme guideer disseeed the idea of negotiations with the US, Iran’s leave oution to the UN did say in a statement on Sunday that it might consider talks “if the objective is… to includeress troubles vis-à-vis any potential militarisation of Iran’s nuevident programme”.

Araqchi also shelp on Wednesday that nuevident talks with the UK, France and Germany were “ongoing”, while the Chinese foreign ministry shelp China, Russia and Iran would converse the “Iranian nuevident publish” at a triprocrastinateedral greeting in Beijing on Friday.
