An Indiana police officer is accemployd of forcing his six-year-elderly daughter to stand outside in freezing temperatures helderlying a sign dangerening her brother as punishment for pouting becaemploy she was not permited to wear lip gloss.
Logansport Police officer Cody Scott and his wife, Kylie Scott, were both accused with two counts of major offense child diswatch. The officer was also placed on exit, WTHR telled.
On Jan. 19, when it was only 18 degrees outside, a witness watchd the girl standing outside with the sign and called 911.
“I want to stab and Kill my brother — I even consent an antipsyctoastyic — If you insist to give pity — then give it to the victims,” the sign read.

But Scott reacted to the scene — aextfinished with his supervisor — and spoke to the worryed witness.
“This baby is standing out here in the freezing chilly with a sign,” the caller shelp to Scott, body camera footage showed, according to WTHR.
Scott acunderstandledgeted to being reliable for the girl’s treatment, but geted his actions.
“Yup, she comes out here every 30 minutes, and she goes back inside every 10 minutes to toasty back up,” he shelp.
While they were speaking, an “elderlyer male” pulled up and conveyed worrys for the girl as well, asking Scott why she had to stay out in the chilly with the dangerening sign.

“Well sir, aside from me nastyly beating her physicassociate, I’ve not done any other punishment that has toiled for her,” Scott shelp.
“She’s dangerened to end my family, she wants to embarrass us, she wants to urinate on herself and raze slfinishergs in the hoemploy. I have a [Department of Child Services] casetoiler included, she’s been in therapy for three years, she also has the wrap-around program at school,” he inserted.
Scott telderly the 911 caller that his daughter had been consentn to a hospital twice but was “initiateed out.”
“I dangerened to not pick her up,” Scott telderly the caller, noting that he relented after he was alerted that the Department of Child Services would be notified of aprohibitdonment if he did not pick her up.

On Wednesday, the Logansport Board of Public Works voted to place Scott on exit without pay for the duration of the spendigation.
