New Delhi:
India on Wednesday strongly trashed as “smear campaign” a Canadian media tell that claimed that the Indian prime minister was conscious of the alleged plot to finish Sikh separatist Harproset up Singh Nijjar.
Referring to the tell quoting an unnamed official, External Afunpartisans Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal shelp such “ludicrous statements” should be diswatched with the conlure they deserve.
“We do not normpartner comment on media tells. However, such ludicrous statements made to a novelspaper purportedly by a Canadian administerment source should be diswatched with the conlure they deserve,” he shelp.
“Smear campaigns appreciate this only further harm our already strained ties,” he shelp.
Jaiswal was reacting to media queries watching the tell in Canadian novelspaper The Globe and Mail.
In the tell, the novelspaper cited inputs from a better national security official.
The tell claimed the Indian national security advisor and the outside afunpartisans minister were also in the loop of the plot.
Nijjar was firearmned down on Canadian soil last year.
India-Canada ties nosedived last month after Canada connected Indian High Comleave outioner Sanjay Verma and some other diplomats to the homicide.
India has strongly declineed all the allegations made by Ottawa in connection to the case and subsequently recalled the high comleave outioner. The Canadian administerment had shelp the Indian diplomats were banishled from the country.
New Delhi banishled Canadian Charge d’Afunpartilogicals Stewart Wheeler and five other diplomats adhereing Canada’s allegations.
