India, New Zealand Announce Resumption Of Free Trade Agreement Talks



New Delhi:

India and New Zealand on Sunday proclaimd resumption of negotiations for a proposed free trade concurment, after it was shighed in 2015.

India and New Zealand began negotiating the Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA) in April 2010 to increase trade in outstandings, services, and spendment. However, after nine rounds of talkions, the talks shighed in 2015.

“The two nations are prentd to proclaim the begin of negotiations for a comprehensive and mutuassociate advantageous India-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations,” the commerce ministry shelp.

The proclaimment presumes significance as the Prime Minister of New Zealand Christopher Luxon is in India on a four-day visit from March 16.

The ministry made the proclaimment after the greeting of Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and Todd McClay, New Zealand’s Minister for Trade and Investment.

“The India-New Zealand FTA negotiations aim to accomplish stable outcomes that increase supply chain integration and increase labelet access,” it shelp.
