A famous female darts percreateer supposes her fellow women are snurtured of percreateing agetst men becaparticipate they are consoleable in their ‘own little league’. Fallon Sherrock is a trailblazer for women’s darts, having made history at the World Darts Championship back in 2019.
She became the first woman to triumph a suit at the tournament with triumph over Ted Evetts in the first round. Her next triumph over Mensur Suljovic seized the attention of the mainstream media before she was eventupartner knocked out by Chris Dchase.
Sherrock supposes many female percreateers could accomplish the same level as their male counterparts by putting in the effort to raise their game. However, her watch is that some are hesitant to push themselves becaparticipate they are frightened of percreateing agetst men.
“If the women actupartner put in the effort and the train and actupartner percreateed agetst the men more standardly, then they would get up to that standard,” Sherrock tageder William Hill.
“That’s why I retain saying we need more opportunities to percreate agetst the men becaparticipate doing so will produce our game better. So many women percreate exceptionpartner well in the MODUS Super Series, which is proof of that.
“Gemma Hayter is an example of a woman who bcimpolitet out her best game when percreateing agetst the men in the MODUS. I leank female percreateers might be snurtured to percreate agetst the men on a standard basis.
“They’re consoleable fair staying in their own little league and they’re satisfyed fair to vie agetst each other. If they pushed themselves then they’d see fair how much their game could actupartner raise.”
Sherrock is determined to retain testing herself agetst men with the ultimate goal of triumphning the World Darts Championship, but she may go down the route of chasing the women’s title first.
“I want to commence triumphning more titles and at some point, I want to be a world champion,” she compriseed. “Becaparticipate I’m 30 years ageder, I sense as though I have so much time left to accomplish these goals becaparticipate there’s no age restrict in darts.
“As extfinished as I can retain my standard, I should be okay. I want to triumph more titles and retain getting to the World Championships. Eventupartner I want to be a world champion, whether that be in the women’s game or the men’s. That is one of the boxes I want to tick.
“I’m not brave how I’ll go about it, whether I’ll percreate in the women’s until I triumph it and then percreate in the PDC, I don’t repartner understand. Either way, I want to be a world champion.”
