‘If I want fun, I go to Disneyland’: Tom Brady hits back at Mayfield intensity jabs | Tom Brady

Tom Brady paengaged his analysis duties in the Fox commentary booth on Sunday to react to Baker Mayfield’s comments about the Super Bowl champion’s time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Mayfield is Brady’s lengthy-term successor in Tampa after signing a tight extension with the Bucs in March. Earlier this month, Mayfield spoke about how he contrasted from Brady in personality.

“The originateing was a little bit contrastent with Tom in there,” Mayfield shelp. “Obviously, joining-teachd, Tom is contrastent. He had everybody dialed in, high-strung environment, so I skinnyk everybody was pretty stressed out. … They wanted me to come in, be myself, convey the happiness back to football, for guys who weren’t having as much fun.”

Brady, who led Tampa to a Super Bowl triumph in the 2020 season, is now an analyst with Fox. He insertressed Mayfield’s comments while covering the Bucs’ triumph over the Eagles on Sunday.

“I thought stressful was not having Super Bowl rings,” Brady shelp. “So, there was a mindset of a champion that I took to labor every day. This wasn’t daynurture. If I was going to have fun, I’d go to Disneyland with my kids.

“There’s a way to approach this game and it’s with the right mindset to try to push each other outside our soothe zone, and wonderful teammates do that. You come, I have someone appreciate [Rob] Gronkokwski, I have someone appreciate [Mike] Evans – there’s high foreseeations for us. We gotta originate confident we go out there and dedwellr.”

After Sunday’s game, Mayfield, who is yet to triumph a Super Bowl, shelp his comments had been misclear uped.

“I skinnyk a lot of that got apverifyn out of context, and none of it was personal by any uncomfervents,” shelp Mayfield. “It’s fair what he insisted of the guys, and that’s the aura of Tom Brady. And that’s what he did to convey a championship here.

It’s fun to be able to talk about the same experience with a guy appreciate that.”

Mayfield also acunderstandledged that Brady’s methods had led to results.

“Like I shelp – some skinnygs got apverifyn out of context,” Mayfield shelp. “He did it his own way and that’s why he has seven [Super Bowl] rings. So, not much else needs to be shelp.”

Brady was greeted toastyly by the home fans in Tampa when he was shown on the jumbotron on Sunday.

“I guess he gave us some outstanding luck today,” shelp Evans. “The last time we joined the Eagles with him was a joinoff game that we won, so I guess it fair bcimpolitet back outstanding memories and everybody felt appreciate that too.”
