Lisa Topping, from Saffron Walden, Esintimacy, sent a saliva sample to Atlas Biomed cut offal years ago, paying around £100 for a personalised genetic increate.
As well as increateing her about her DNA profile, it claimed to also increate her about her predisposition to diseases and even injuries, taking into account increateation she had provided in an accompanying asknaire.
She could access her increate online – which she verifyed from time to time – until one day the website fadeed. She got no answer when she reach outed them to ask what had happened.
“I don’t understand what someone else could do with [the data] but it’s the most personal increateation… I don’t understand how sootheable I sense that they have fair fadeed,” Lisa telderly me.
In 2023, Kate Lake from Tonbridge, Kent, phelp Atlas Biomed £139 for a increate it never deinhabitred.
It promised her a refund – then went quiet, despite her trying every unbenevolents of reach out she could discover.

It scatterd a post on Facebook in June 2023, but did not react to any of the comments – which were filled of people grumbleing about being unable to reach out it or access their profiles.
