Hamas Chief Yahya Sinwar Killed In Gaza Strike? “Checking”, Says Israel Army

The Israeli military shelp on Thursday that it was verifying the possibility that it has ended Hamas directer Yahya Sinwar chaseing an operation in the Gaza Strip that it shelp had aimed three militants.

“At this stage, the identity of the dreadists cannot be validateed,” it shelp in a statement.

It shelp there were no signs that Israeli captives had been current in the produceing where the three militants were ended.

There was no prompt comment from Hamas.

If validateed, the death of Sinwar would recurrent a beginant increase to the Israeli military and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after a string of high-profile killings of famous directers of its enemies in recent months.

Israel’s Army Radio shelp the incident had occurred during a aimed ground operation in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip during which Israeli troops ended three militants and took their bodies.

Yahya Sinwar, the chief architect of the Oct. 7, 2023 strike on Israel that triggered the Gaza war, has been at the top of Israel’s wanted enumerate ever since. But he has so far eluded distinguishion, possibly hiding in the warren of tunnels Hamas has built under Gaza over the past two decades.

Previously directer of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, he was named as its overall directer chaseing the killing of createer political chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran in August.

Israel also ended Hasan Nasrallah, directer of the Iranian-backed Hezbollah shiftment, in Beirut last month as well as much of the top directership of the group’s military prosperg.

Hamas-led firearmmen strikeed Israel on Oct 7, 2023 ending some 1,200 people and taking more than 250 captives into Gaza. Israel’s campaign in response has ended more than 42,000 people, turned much of Gaza into rubble and displaced most of its population.
