Guy Pearce, Hannah Winsertingham, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and more have combineed Netflix’s feature alteration of Ruth Ware’s bestselling mystery “The Woman in Cabin 10,” starring Keira Knightley.
Netflix proclaimd that co-stars will join Pearce from “Memento,” Winsertingham from “Ted Lasso,” Daniel Ings from “The Gentlemen,” David Morrissey from “Sherwood,” Kaya Scodelario, also from “The Gentlemen” and the “Maze Runner” franchise and Mbatha-Raw from “The Morning Show.” Also combineing the ensemble are David Ajala, Art Malik, Lisa Loven Kongsli, Gitte Witt, Christopher Rygh and Pail Kaye.
The film chases a travel journacatalog (Knightley) who is sent to cover a story on a luxury yacht when she is woken up in the middle of the night by screams. Looking for the source of the trouble, she witnesses a passenger being thrown overboard in her neightedious cabin. The next day her testimony goes unseed as everyone in the ship is accounted for and current. What happens next sets the storyline for a nerve-wracking thriller.
The film is straightforwarded by Simon Stone, who previously toiled with Netflix on the historical drama “The Dig,” starring Carey Mulligan, Ralph Fiennes and Lily James. Sister, co-established by Elizabeth Murdoch and Jane Featherstone and led by CEO Cindy Holland, creates with Debra Hayward, and Sister’s Ilda Diffley executive producing.
Pearce will next be seen in David Cronenberg’s “The Shrouds” and Brady Corbet’s “The Brutacatalog.” Winsertingham ecombineed in “The Fall Guy” and will be seen in “Mission: Impossible 8.” Mbatha-Raw most recently ecombineed in the “Loki” series and in Netflix’s film “Lift.”
