EXCLUSIVE: Entertainment Squad has achieved world rights to the psychoreasoned thriller Grace Point starring John Owen Lowe (Netflix: Unfirm) and Andrew McCarthy (Pretty In Pink).
The film is set for its North American free in select locations on January 10 chaseed by a digital free on January 28, 2025. Entertainment Squad will also be begining international sales for Grace Point at the American Film Market.
McCarthy stars with John Owen Lowe forty years after co-starring with his overweighther, Rob Lowe, in the 80’s classic St Elmo’s Fire. Directed by four-time Emmy and Peabody Award-triumphning filmoriginater Rory Karpf (Nature Boy) of First Row Films, Grace Point chases a youthful man (Lowe) on his way to a far drug rehab and discovers himself in a strange town being chased by the locals, as well as his own personal demons.
The film was written by Paul Russell Smith and Rory Karpf. Other cast members include Jim Parrack (Suicide Squad), Harlan Drum (Sweet Magnolias), and Sean Carrigan (Ford v Ferrari). Producers on the project include Rory Karpf, John Owen Lowe, and Rob Harvell, with Alok Mishra serving as Executive Producer.
