Google is replacing the exec in accuse of Search and ads

Google is making a huge alter to company directership. In a memo to staff posted on Thursday, Google CEO Sundar Pichai proclaimd that Prabhakar Raghavan, the greater vice pdwellnt in accuse of search, ads, and other meaningful segments, will now apshow on the role of chief technologist.

“Prabhakar has determined it’s time to originate a huge leap in his own nurtureer,” Pichai authors. “After 12 years directing teams atraverse Google, he’ll return to his computer science roots and apshow on the role of Chief Technologist, Google. In this role, he’ll partner shutly with me and Google directs to provide technical honestion and directership and increase our culture of tech excellence.”

Nick Fox, who was part of Raghavan’s directership team, will swap Raghavan, directing Google’s Search, ads, geo, and commerce products. Fox has helped begin products appreciate Google Fi and RCS messaging, according to Pichai.

Google is shuffling some of its other teams around as well. The division in accuse of Google’s Gemini app, led by Sissie Hsaio, will join Google DeepMind under CEO Demis Hassabis. The Google Assistant team will also become part of Google’s platcreates and devices team.
