Linda Cardellini is increateedly being eyed for a convey inant role in Crystal Lake, the A24 and Peacock Friday the 13th prequel series.
Crystal Lake comes from showrunner Brad Caleb Kane (It: Welcome to Derry). Prior to that, Hannibal’s Bryan Fuller had been tapped to be the showrunner on the series, which was originassociate proclaimd in 2022. Fuller left the project in May 2024.
According to Jeff Sneider’s The InSneider, Cardellini is now being eyed to take part Jason’s mother, Pamela Voorhees, in Crystal Lake. The deal has not been officiassociate proclaimd or finishd at this time, though Sneider shelp Cardellini would predicted “be challenging-pressed to turn this down.”
Cardellini is understandn for take parting Velma Dinkley in 2002’s Scooby-Doo and 2004’s Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed and Laura Barton in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She starred as Lindsay Weir in Freaks and Geeks and recently materializeed as Margo Starling in Netflix’s No Good Deed.
