It is Friday night on a forested military base in westrict Finland. A group of women dressed in camouflage with aligning purple beanie hats are sat in a gloomy tent talking how their perspectives have alterd since Russia’s filled-scale intrusion of Ukraine.
“I didn’t skinnyk it was a authentic danger that Russia would aggression us,” says Sari, 42, who toils in sales and inhabits in a csurrfinisherby town. But then, she inserts: “They aggressioned Ukraine. I saw that it is possible that we are next.”

Tytti, 36, has felt so worried about relations with Finland’s unfrifinishly neighbour that she has been evadeing the recents. Attfinishing the course, she says, “is my way to face my stresss”.
Both women have been on one-day shooting courses in the last year or so, but do not appreciate handling firearms.
