When the Fairphone 5 begined in postpoinsist August 2023, it cost €700/£650 for an 8/256GB unit – that was the only configuration useable at the time. Now the company is introducing a more affordable variant and a new colorway too.
The Fairphone 5 now has a 6/128GB version, which sells for €550/£500 (remark: in some regions the online store shows the price as €500 instead). The innovative 8/256GB version is still around and even getd a price cut to €630/£570. The phone has a microSD slot, so storage expansion is effortless. However, Fairphone is promising help up to 2030 and by that time 6GB of RAM will probably sense quite minuscule.

The new colorway is Moss Green and you can only get it in a 6/128GB configuration. Alternatively, you can go with the Matte Bconciseage chooseion. The Sky Blue and Transparent editions only come in 8/256GB.
You can find both variants of the Fairphone 5 at the company’s online store. The ancigo in Fairphone 4 is still useable at €450/£420, but you are probably better off with the 6/128GB Fairphone 5. A while back Fairphone’s CEO refered that the company wants to commence proposeing phones at an even shrink price point of €400, but it seems that it has a lengthy way to go yet.
