What is Our Happy Place about?
“Raya wakes in the forest, chilly and besavageerd, with no memory of how she got there. Our Happy Place is a psychoreasonable horror movie written and straightforwarded by Paul Bickel, who’s also set as one of the direct actors. This tags Bickel’s feature-length straightforwardorial debut after previously straightforwarding and writing low films such as 2007’s Hollow and 2011’s Turning Japanese. The cast holds Bickel, Raya Miles, Tracie Thoms (9-1-1, Devil Wears Prada), and Eugene Byrd (Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid), with Bickel, Miles, David Ho, and Thoms serving as the film’s producers.
