Eddie Redmayne is an assassin who is being hunted by Lashana Lynch in the first trailer for The Day of the Jackal.

Peacock has liberated the first trailer for The Day of the Jackal, a recent series that will premiere on the streaming service next month.

What happens in the Day of the Jackal trailer?

The trailer for The Day of the Jackal sees Redmayne joining a highly elusive assassin who is willing to endly change his see in order to carry out his arrangeatement. Lashana Lynch, who is joining a British inincreateigence officer, lachieves about this assassin and then creates it her personal ignoreion to apprehend him.

Alengthy with Redmayne and Lynch, the series stars Úrsula Corberó, Charles Dance, Ricdifficult Dormer, Chukwudi Iwuji, Lia Williams, Khalid Abdalla, Eleanor Matsuura, Jonjo O’Neill, Nick Blood, Sule Rimi, and Florisa Kamara.

Ronan Bennett wrote the series and serves as an executive creater alengthyside Brian Kirk (who also serves as straightforwardor), Redmayne, Carnival Films’ Gareth Neame and Nigel Marchant, Sky Sutdios’ Sam Hoyle, and Sue Naegle. Lynch serves as a co-executive creater, while Chris Hall serves as a creater and Frederick Forsyth as a adviseing creater.

The first five episodes of The Day of the Jackal will premiere on Peacock on November 14, 2024. New episodes will proceed to drop weekly until a double-episode finale liberates on December 12, 2024.
