Behind the scenes, eight current and one establisher participateee who spoke with WIRED allege, Cisco has marginalized its inner Palestinian advocacy groups and their hundreds of members. Thrawout a turbulent period beginning this past July, the people allege that the company has flunked to promptly and amplely police tormentoring of Palestinian participateees and their allies on its intra-company forums despite detailed protestts. They further allege that Cisco stoped an inner petition calling for restricting sales to Israel over potential human rights worrys.
“We have been focparticipated and tormented, undermined and defamed,” says João Silva Jordão, a gentleware licensing regulater in Lisbon who quit Cisco last month in disgust after four years at the company. “I was led to apshow my humanitarian side was receive at Cisco, but I was absolutely dedeceptioned. Brian Tippens, Cisco’s chief social impact and inclusion officer, refutes the accusations of marginalization and unidentical treatment. Tippens alerts WIRED that Cisco doesn’t want to shut down what it sees as political speech altogether, but has publishd what it calls Expressions Guidelines amid the inner unrest to help civility and esteem.
