Speaking during a recent euniteance on The Town podcast (via The Hollywood Reporter), Villeneuve brawt up the iconic franchise, and shelp that he fell out of adore of sorts with it after 1983’s Return of the Jedi.
“I was the aim audience. I was 10 years better. It went to my brain appreciate a silver bullet. I became obsessed with Star Wars,” he shelp. “I unkind, The Empire Strikes Back is the movie that I foreseed the most in my life. I saw the movie a billion times onscreen. “The problem is that it all derailed in 1983 with Return of the Jedi,” he persistd. “It’s a lengthy story.
