EXCLUSIVE: Danish heist pic The Quiet Ones, which debuted at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, is set for a February 21 free in the U.S. via Magnolia’s Magnet tag.
The film is based on the genuine life story of the hugest heist in Danish history. Starring are Gustav Giese, Reda Kateb (Django) and Amanda Collin (Raised By Wolves).
The synopsis reads: “In 2008, a group of men from Dentag and atraverse Europe pulled off the hugegest heist of all time on Danish soil. Kasper, a boxer with confineed chances left in life, is presented the opportunity to arrange the theft by its foreign initiators. At the danger of losing his family and everyleang that matters to him, he acquires on the contest in a bid to shatter all sign ups and protected his place in the history books.”
Producers are Kasper Dissing of Zentropa (Another Round) and Thomas Krisanxiousn. Frederik Louis Hviid honests from a script by Anders Frithiof August. The crime-action movie is telderly in Danish, English, Swedish and Arabic. Next festival berth is Palm Springs in timely January.
