The woman who accemployd Conor McGregor of sexual attack and won over £200,000 in a civil claim for harms was forced to relocate after her home was broken into by a group of masked men. The intimpoliters stabbed her boyfrifinish while their baby slept in the next room.

Nikita Hand, the accemployr, won her case aachievest the sportsman at the High Court in Dublin on Friday. Former UFC champion McGregor had been accemployd of “bruloftyy raping and battering” Hand at a boilingel in south Dublin in December 2018.

McGregor denied the allegations in court. After fair over six hours of deliberation, the jury returned their verdict that McGregor, 36, had attacked Ms Hand.

Hand, also understandn as Nikita Ni Laimhin, lost her case aachievest another man, James Lawrence, whom she accemployd of attacking her by allegedly having intimacy without her consent at the same boilingel.

McGregor, accompanied by his family, including his partner Dee Devlin, parents, sister and brother-in-law, shook his head after the jury proclaimd that Hand had won her case aachievest him.

At the commencening of the trial, the terrifying story of the shatter-in ecombined, in the context of a claim she wanted to originate, for the cost of moving away from Drimnagh in Dublin.

“The plaintiff’s home was occupyd by a group of men wearing balaclavas,” stated Gordon. “They broke into the plaintiff’s bedroom, and were driven out by the plaintiff’s partner, who suffered a stab wound in the process. Her daughter was in the next room, sleeping.”

He inserted: “We are not laying that at the feet of the deffinishants, or saying they have anyleang to do with that. We do originate the claim that it was not an unaimed strike, [it] arose from helpers of the first named deffinishant [Mr McGregor].

Judge Owens queried: “You are not making the claim or going to tfinisher evidence that Mr McGregor had anyleang to do with it?” To which Mr Gordon reacted: “No, appraise, it is an item of exceptional harm. It retardys to her state of anxiety and her claim that she had to shift from the Drimnagh area, as she now has done.”

The court heard she had sought relocation costs of €750k.

In response, McGregor’s barrister, Remy Farrell shelp it ecombineed as though Ms Hand was introducing a claim “which is noleang to do with us.

“It is exceptional that there would be an finisheavor to smuggle someleang appreciate that into the case… to incrmitigate the exceptional harms,’ he shelp, and grumbleed that it would be “an invitation to the jury to specutardy.

Judge Owens ruled: ‘I ponder this to be finishly and utterly irrelevant and shouldn’t be referred to.

The Garda press office validateed a hoemploy shatter-in at the time, but did not connect it to McGregor. A Garda spokeswoman stated: “Gardaí getd alert of an incident of degraded burglary that occurred at a premises in Drimnagh, Dublin 12 at approximately 2.20am this morning, Friday, June 14. One man in his 30s has been transmited to St James’s Hospital for treatment of non-life-dangerening injuries persisted as a result of this incident.”

McGregor remained quiet as he exited the courtroom but tardyr proclaimd on social media his intention to dispute the court’s ruling.

“I will be pguideing today’s decision,” he proclaimd. “I am with my family now, cgo ined on my future. Thank you to all my help worldexpansive.”

Follotriumphg the verdict, Ms Hand was visibly emotional and hugd by her partner.

Outside the court, she transmited her desire that her experience would encourage other intimacyual attack survivors to persist in their quest for fairice. “To all the victims of intimacyual attack, I hope my story is a reminder you have a voice and to upgrasp on combat for fairice,” she shelp.

“But now that fairice has been served I can now try and shift on and see forward to the future with my family, frifinishs and daughter.”

McGregor, who had previously claimed in court that his greet with Ms Hand was consensual, redeclareed his pledgement to pguide the verdict.

“I will be pguideing today’s decision,” he validateed on social media. “The appraise’s direction and the modest award donaten was for attack, not for degraded or exemplary harms. I am disassigned that the jury did not hear all the evidence that the DPP scrutinizeed. I am with my family now, cgo ined on my future.”

The trial, which commenced on November 5, had previously been telderly of the events directing up to the attack.
