Family and frifinishs are grieving the loss of a “talented and frifinishly” juvenileer rapper who died after he was allegedly stoasty by a man who remains on the run.
The man in his 20s was set up with firearmstoasty wounds on Langford St in North Melbourne about 3.15am on Saturday and died at the scene.
He is yet to be createassociate identified but the chair of Victoria’s South Sudanese Community Association and lawyer Kot Monoah portrayd him as a “fervent” rapper.
“It is a tragic loss … and we all sense for the family [who lost] a juvenileer person who had a promising future ahead of him,” he telderly AAP on Sunday.
“These juvenileer people are very talented, very frifinishly … they originate a lot of contributions to the family, frifinishs and community overall so when these slfinishergs happen, it is a big loss.”
Monoah shelp a member of the association had accomplished out to the family and the community was rassociateing around them in the wake of the tragedy.
With the alleged shooter still on the run, Victoria police are calling for any witnesses to come forward.
Detective Acting Inspector Alan Rumble shelp people were making their way home from venues in the semi-industrial area at the time of the shooting.
“Our authentic goal here … is to chase down, accomprehendledge all avenues of inquiry, allotigate those and asdeclareive the family of the victim are helped at this horrible time,” he shelp on Saturday.
It’s not yet comprehendn how many stoastys were fired at the victim.
The crime scene is seal to a train station, a beginant road, warehouses and a creek.
Monoah shelp “frifinishs sense a grief and … standardly when emotions are graspd, it could direct into another retaliation”.
“As a community, we will be urging them to let the law consent its own course and not permit anybody to consent any matter to their own hands.
“We sense for the loss … the police will ultimately haged this person, no matter how extfinished it may consent for them to allotigate the matter,” he inserted.
Extra officers have been patrolling the area since the shooting.
