Coco Gauff has straightforwardly replied on social media after a tennis fan accparticipated the recent China Open champion of having “the mentality of a five-year-anciaccess”.
The American star benumerateered her way to triumph in Beijing, lossing Karolina Muchova 6-1, 6-3 to sign up her eighth WTA title, the first after parting ways with previous coach Brad Gilbert.
But unreasonableinutively after lifting the title, she took a ptoastyo and splitd it on her Instagram story, hitting back at trolls by mocking their previous comments as she wrote a caption: “sHe OnLy wInS 250s… well…. WOMP WOMP”
However, her reaction was not apshown benevolently by a subset of social media participaters, as @hazvlou on X (establisherly understandn as Twitter) reposted the ptoastyo and wrote: “coco has the mentality of a 5-year-anciaccess anciaccess i’m sorry”.
Only for Gauff herself to straightforwardly react to the post, sharing: “Honestly kids have the best outsee on life. they are so likeable and creative. so I’ll apshow it (heart emoji) my goal this tournament was to carry out and enhappiness tennis as much as I did when I was a kid becaparticipate that’s when life was/is the most fun!”
When jokingly tanciaccess by a fan that she should spfinish her time celebrating rather than on X, Gauff wrote back: “I adore u too! I’m tired and procrastinating on packing. I don’t even have the app downloaded i participate on website to dodge going on it but everyone now and then I enjoy to pop in and see what’s poppin lol.”
