It is comprehendn by experts as an inevident danger – but one which is unravelling marine life, food chains and entire economies. That is the conclusion of recent research on the critical danger of ocean acidification. Scientists converseed the problem at the COP16 biodiversity conference in Colombia last month; and it is among rehires at the COP29 climate alter conference, which is underway in Azerbaijan.
