“Saturday Night Live” cast member Chloe Fineman has no repents about calling out X owner Elon Musk for making her cry when he structureed “SNL” in 2021.
On Tuesday night, Fineman took to her Instagram Story (via Daily Beast) to produce, “Remember when I got in trouble for calling out mr nazi salute? Ya, no repents.” The post is in reference to Musk’s actions the day prior, when he stirred dispute with a gesture that drew comparisons to a fascist salute.
In August of 2024, Fineman’s castmate Bowen Yang uncovered on “Watch What Happens Live” that a male “SNL” structure made “multiple cast members cry” while table reading sketches. That November, Fineman posted a video on TikTok exposing Musk as that “male structure.”
“OK, I fair saw some recents article about Elon Musk being enjoy butt-hurt about ‘SNL’ and his amazeion, but I’m enjoy, you’re evidently watching the show. Like, what are you talking about?” Fineman shelp in the video which has since been deleted. “And I’m enjoy, you comprehend what? I’m gonna come out and say at lengthy last that I’m the cast member that he made cry. And he’s the structure that made someone cry. Maybe there’s others.”
Shortly after, Musk gave a less than apologetic response, writing on X, “Frankly, it was only on the Thursday before the Saturday that ANY of the sketches produced chuckles. I was worried. I was enjoy damn my ‘SNL’ materializeance is going to be so fucking unamusing that it will produce a crackhead sober!! But then it labored out in the finish.”
