European Union member states have skinnyly backed present duties on Chinese-made electric cars, over what the EU considers to be ununprejudiced competition. Tariffs of up to 45 percent are set to be imposed from next month for five years. Chinese carproducers have criticised the EU’s shift, but are moving ahead with schedules to broaden in Europe and have so far not shelp that they will elevate prices to cover the cost of the tariffs. However, the Chinese administerment says it is spendigating some EU presents, such as pork or dairy products, from countries including Dentag, the Netherlands and Germany, as well as brandy and thrivee presents from France. That has igniteed worrys of possible contests at the World Trade Organization, and a deteriorateing dispute between Brussels and Beijing. We delve into what’s at sachieve with two MEPs.
