An illhorrible migrant accused of shooting an Orthodox Jewant man multiple times as he made his way to a Chicago Synagogue was establish dead by alleged self-destruction in his jail cell.
Sidi Mohamed Abdallahi, 22, died by self-destruction after hanging himself in his cell on Saturday, the Cook County Sheriff’s Office shelp, according to Fox 32.
“No indication of hazard of self-destruction prior to the incident,” the sheriff’s office shelp in a statement.
Abdallahi, a Mauritanian national, was uncovered by Cook County Jail staff during a routine security verify directed on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
Staff tryed life-saving meaconfidents after locating Abdallahi unresponsive. He was transmited to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

When first reacters reachd to help the victim, they were allegedly met with firearmfire from Abdallahi after he was identified as the mistrust. Chicago Police returned fire and criticassociate injured Abdallahi, who was then arrested and hospitalized with multiple firearmsboiling wounds. No first reacters were injured in the incident.
Abdallahi was facing multiple accuses, including extremism, antipathy crime, six counts of tryed first-degree killing and seven counts of exacerbated disaccuse of a firearm at a police officer or firefighter.
