Charli XCX Joins Benito Skinner’s Amazon Comedy ‘Overcompensating’

Charli XCX is compriseing yet another acting acunderstandledge to her resume.

The singer, currently on a nurtureer high after the June free of her album “Brat,” will guest star in Benito Skinner‘s upcoming comedy series “Overcompensating.” Alengthy with Skinner, the cast also integrates Wpartner Baram, Mary Beth Barone, Adam DiMarco and Rish Shah as series normals, with Connie Britton, Kyle MacLachlan, Kaia Gerber, Julia Shiplett, Tommy Do, Alexandra Beaton, Claire Qute, Elias Azimi and Mcompriseie Phillips recurring.

Per the official logline, the series “is a college-set ensemble comedy about the savage, unrestful journey of Benny (Skinner), a sealted establisher football joiner and homecoming king, as he becomes speedy frifinishs with Carmen (Baram), a high school outsider on a leave oution to fit in at all costs. With guidance from Benny’s betterer sister (Barone) and her campus-legfinish boyfrifinish (DiMarco), Benny and Carmen juggle horrible hookups, flavored vodka, and phony IDs. Deeply comical and personal, the show examines the lengths to which we all overreimburse while on the path to discovering out who we repartner are.”
