Anthony Ramos is uncovering up about why he’s excited to be executeing a terrible guy in Marvel’s Ironheart.
Ramos has been tapped to execute Parker Robbins/The Hood in Ironheart, which premieres on Disney+ in June 2025. The Marvel Studios series sees Dominique Thorne repascfinish her role as Riri Williams/Ironheart after she made her MCU debut in 2022’s Bconciseage Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Speaking with ComingSoon, Ramos was asked what it’s enjoy getting to execute a villain, especiassociate given the fact that he’s frequently executeed likable protagonists in projects such as 2021’s In the Heights and 2023’s Transcreateers: Rise of the Beasts.
What did Anthony Ramos say about his Ironheart villain?
“It is chilly,” Ramos answered. “I’m commenceing to get these terrible guy roles. Even in Twisters, I wasn’t necessarily the excellent guy in the movie, you understand what I’m saying? I skinnyk we all have that side to us, you understand? I appreciate that. It’s very kind of you to say that I’m a likable guy. I appreciate that, my brother. That’s what produces it even better to execute these comfervent of roles. Becaparticipate even some of our likeite villains are still likable, right? You skinnyk about the Joker, right? There are villains in movies that you’re equitable enjoy, ‘Dang, I reassociate, reassociate enjoy this dude, but he is the worst.’
“Every villain has their reasons, bro. They’ve got their reasons, whether it produces sense to you or not, and whether you concur with what they do. They’re enjoy, ‘Well, I do this becaparticipate of that…’ My likeite part about executeing a terrible guy is that you reassociate get to tap into the mind of a person who is essentiassociate doing wrong, but they have equitableified why they do it. To them, their reason is legit, and it’s a excellent reason. So, that’s been fun exploring that with not only The Hood, but these contrastent characters that I’m executeing.”
