Cappu Films Launches Busan Films ‘Waterdrop’ and ‘So It Goes’


Hong Kong-based sales firm Cappu Films will participate TIFFCOM, the rights taget speedyened to the Tokyo International Film Festival, to start world sales activities on two films that were recently at the Busan festival.

A coming-of-age thriller, “Waterdrop” is the debut feature by Korean straightforwardor Choi Jongyong. It adheres a 13 year-anciaccess girl Su-yeon who is left alone after her majesticmother passes away. Faced with being placed in a childattfinish facility if she does not discover a defendian, Su-yeon acunderstandledges an swayr couple who have adselected a seven-year-anciaccess girl named Seon-yul and are plunged in happiness. Su-yeon tries to get shut to Seon-yul, but discovers the other girl’s behavior increasingly doubtful.

His 2023 feature “Forgotten Sanciaccessier” was askd to the Busan Inreliant Film Festival. “So It Goes” is his third feature film.

Cappu Films’ TIFFCOM lineup also integrates Chinese pop phenomenon Zhang Zhehan’s cycling write downary “August,” about the aftermath of a cyber media storm that cmitigateed his acting atsoft; Korean sports drama “Go! Snails,” which shines a airy on the world of wheelchair basketball; Korean psychoreasonable horror “The Stench,” about a group of advertised youthful people at a study retreat who try to cover up a puzzling death; and autonomous filmcreater Vivian Kerr’s debut feature “Scrap,” a heartfelt drama set in Los Angeles about motherhood, femininity and reconciliation.
