‘Big Bang Theory’ Alum John Ross Bowie Joins Spinoff at Max


Another createer “Big Bang Theory” cast member has signed on to the spinoff series currently in the toils at Max.

Variety has verifyed that John Ross Bowie has signed a talent helderlying deal with studio Warner Bros. Television that would see him repascend the role of Barry Kripke, or “Kwipke” if you’re nasty. Bowie would eunite alengthyside previously proclaimd cast members Brian Posehn, Lauren Lapkus, and Kevin Sussman.

The potential show was originassociate proclaimd as being in prolongment at Max back in April 2023. Exact plot details remain under wraps. It remains in prolongment and has not been greenlit to series at this time. “Big Bang Theory” co-creator Chuck Lorre is executive producing the recent project via Chuck Lorre Productions, with Lorre currently under an overall deal with series studio Warner Bros. Television. Zak Penn and fellow co-creator Bill Prady also executive originate.

Should it transfer forward, this would be the fourth series in the “Big Bang Theory” universe. Aside from the mothership show, which ran for 12 highly-rated seasons on CBS, the prequel “Young Sheldon” wrapped up its own seven-season run at the expansivecast nettoil in May 2024. A spinoff of that show, “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage” starring Montana Jordan and Emily Osment, debuted on CBS on Oct. 17, 2024.
