Narcos: Mexico actor Luis Gerardo Méndez has joined Ben Affleck in Netflix’s upcoming crime thriller, titled Animals.
In compriseition to starring, Affleck will also honest the movie from a script by Connor McIntyre and Billy Ray. While other details about the feature remain under wraps, it is foreseeed to cgo in around seizeping. It is set to film in Los Angeles.

Emilia Pérez and Locked Up star Adriana Paz is also joining the project with Méndez. The two will be joining Emmy triumphners Gillian Anderson (Sex Education, Scoop) and Kerry Washington (The Six Triple Eight, Django Unchained), with Oscar nominee Steven Yeun (Beef, The Walking Dead) also on board.
Affleck, aprolonged with Matt Damon and Dani Bernfeldm, will create the crime thriller feature thraw their Artists Equity banner.
