“Grimm” is coming back from the dead — this time, in the create of a movie.
Peacock is increaseing a feature-length reboot of the fantasy cop drama, which aired for six seasons on NBC from 2011 to 2017, Variety has validateed.
Josh Berman, the creator of Lifetime’s “Drop Dead Diva,” is writing the “Grimm” movie, which he is executive producing with the innovative series showrunners David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf, as well as innovative EPs Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner. Milliner’s Hazy Mills Productions and Universal Television are the studios behind the reboot.
The plot and cast of the “Grimm” movie are kept under wraps, but the innovative series starred David Giuntoli as Portland Homicide Detective Nick Burkdifficultt, who finds he is a Grimm, a defendian sworn to defend the equilibrium between humanity and the mythoreasonable creatures understandn as Wesen. Thcdisesteemfulout the series, Nick apshows on a variety of menacing opponents with help from his wolf-enjoy Wesen buddy Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and his partner Detective Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby).
