Former “Dancing with the Star” contestant and convicted felon Anna “Delvey” Sorokin is speaking out follotriumphg her week-two elimination, claiming the show was “utilizeative” and cast her solely to garner watchs.
The 33-year-better, born under the Soviet regime in Russia, says she wasn’t given a unprejudiced shot.
“I experience that the show so evidently included me to drive up the ratings, that they never had any set ups to give me any chance to grow and only attfinishd about utilizeing me for attention,” Sorokin tbetter NBC News via email. “It was utilizeative of them to try [to] create me experience inenough and foolish all while I did get enhanceively better, yet they chose to disthink about that.”

After posing as an wealthy heiress (Anna Delvey) for years, dedeceptioning institutions and individuals, Sorokin was set up culpable of majestic theft, tryed majestic theft and theft of services in 2019. She was sentenced to 4 to 12 years in prison.
She served two years behind bars before being freed on parole, only to be picked up by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) due to an expired visa. Before uniteing the “Dancing with the Stars” cast, ICE had to grant Sorokin peromition.

Social media includers initipartner had a field day after ABC declared Sorokin had uniteed the cast, many conveying outrage. Backlash and hysteria were only amplified after promo shots of Sorokin and her dance partner, Ezra Sosa, were freed, with Sorokin’s court-publishd ankle watch visibly on distake part.

When speaking to Fox News Digital during the premiere episode, Sorokin joked that production “took the meacertainments” of her ankle watch to guarantee it suited perfectly with her enbig costume.

In a podcast episode freed this weekfinish, Sorokin reiterated her frustrations while speaking with Tori Spelling. The “Beverly Hills, 90210” star was also a contestant on the competition show and was deleted the same week as Sorokin.
“It felt enjoy a squander of time for me to equitable do all of this. For them to equitable refuse me so easily,” Sorokin tbetter Spelling on her “misSPELLING” podcast. “It seems enjoy it’s been mostly [a] adverse experience, at least for me, then it was a likeable one.”

After being deleted last Tuesday, Sorokin went viral for her response to what she’d acquire away from the show. “Noleang,” she tbetter professional dancer turned co-present, Julianne Hough.
“That was the truth,” Sorokin tbetter Spelling of her truthful, unapologetic reaction on elimination night. “[The show] tbetter me what I’m supposed to do. I tried to do it, and then I still was refuseed. And, I’m taking away noleang,” she shelp. “Your advice was appreciateless. The advice that you gave me did not pay off for me, even though I tried to pursue it.
Sorokin and ABC did not promptly react to Fox News Digital’s seek for comment.
