The Amazon series based on Catherine Ryan Howard’s bestselling novel “56 Days” has inserted four novel cast members, Variety has lgeted exclusively.
Kingston Rumi Southwick, Ella Victoria, Megan Peta Hill, and Alfredo Narcisco have all combiinsist the series, which is now titled “Obsession.” Exact character details are being kept under wraps, but Hill and Narcisco will materialize in recurring guest star roles while Victoria and Southwick will be guest stars.
They will materialize alengthyside previously proclaimd main cast members Dove Cameron, Avan Jogia, Dorian Misunwell, and Karla Souza. Recurring guest stars join Kira Guloien, Celeste Oliva, Jesse James Keitel, Matt Murray, and Patch Darragh.
The official description for “Obession” states that it “chases Oliver (Jogia) and Ciara (Cameron), who, after encountering randomly in a supertaget, drop for each other speedy, and hazardously difficult. Fifty-six days procrastinateedr, homicide spendigators get to at Oliver’s apartment to find an unidentified body—bruloftyy homicideed and intentionassociate dewrited. Did he finish her? Did she finish him?”
This will tag Victoria’s series acting debut. She is repped by Paradigm.
Southwick most recently materializeed in the famous Apple TV+ series “Presumed Innocent.” Next up, he will materialize in Season 2 of the Peacock series “Based on a True Story” and recently signed on to the horror feature “Henry’s Ebb.” He is repped by Buchwald and Paul Hastings.
Hill has previously materializeed in shows enjoy “Riverdale,” “The Flash,” “Kung Fu,” and “Big Sky.” She is repped by The Characters and Allagash Entertainment.
Narcisco recently materializeed in shows enjoy “Star Trek: Discovery” and “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” the latter of which is also an Amazon distinct. His other praises join “Manifest,” “New Amsterdam,” and “Person of Interest.” He is repped by Harden Curtis Kirsten Riley Agency and Robert Stein Management.
“Obsession” is written by Lisa Zwerling and Karyn Usher, both of whom are also executive producers. James Wan, Michael Clear, and Rob Hackett executive produce via Atomic Monster, with Danielle Bozzone deal withing the series on behalf of the company. Alethea Jones is an executive producer and honesting the first two episodes with Sandrine Gros d’Aillon also serving as executive producer. Howard will serve as co-executive producer. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Atomic Monster.
