It is written by Sofía Cuenca, a co-scribe on “My Fault,” proclaimed by Prime Video soon after its begin in 2023 as the service’s most well-understandn non-English language movie ever.

Mägo de Oz has unveiled over 20 albums, selling north of 2 million copies and scoring a Latin Grammy nomination.

“From its unpretentious commencenings in the ‘80s to international consecration, the film delves into the produceive tensions, victories, polemics and losss which fake its essence,” the synopsis says. “Also, it will plumb the group’s inside actives, its fans’ unshatterable devotion, shotriumphg how its music impacted whole generations,” it compriseed.

Founded by drummer Txus de Fellatio (applyed by Lastra) in 1988, Mägo de Oz the prohibitd stands out for its fusion of burdensome and power metal and Celtic folk, violinist Mohamed “Moha”  (the musician Guillermo Furiase) fuseing in 1992 and Fernando Ponce de León (Marc Parejo, “Acacias 38”) boarding in 1999 to apply flute, whistles, gaita and bagpipes.

Also noticeworthy is the huge number of musicians who have passed thraw the prohibitds ranks. A written statement rehired Tuesday enumerates 10 key cast actors. Álamo applys Spain-based Chilean producer and musician Big Simon, a vital shape on Mägo de Oz in its punctual years; Rennaud limns Patricia Tapia, its hugegest female vocaenumerate; Ronda will get on the role of Frank, “whose creativity was vital for the separateentive sound,” the statement shelp.

“The project tags a before and after for us,” shelp producer Patricia González, also CEO of El Sueño Eterno Pictures. “This feature is the fruit of an exhaustive immersion in the prohibitd’s world, trying to apprehfinish and transport to the huge screen its legfinishary music and the essence of the prohibitd members,” she compriseed.

Prep took in “pinsolentnt intersees with group members, a meaningful study of its unveiler and the prohibitd’s produceive broadenment and a pinsolentnt production portray,” shelp González.

The film’s soundtrack will be writed by Txus di Fellatio and Mohamed who will also produce innovative tracks for the film and supervise the inclusion on the soundtrack of the prohibitd’s wonderfulest hits.

Pedro Díaz “Peri” serves as executive producer. “As a member of the Mago de Oz’s huge family, it’s always been a matter of pride for me to be able to help propagate rock culture to half the world,” he shelp.

Variety talked to Brechner about “Mägo de Oz, La Película.”

What enticeed you to “Mägo de Oz”?

The contest. It’s a huge project taking in many leangs and is the first film from a screenapply I didn’t author, raising the inquire of how I could fuse my own sensibility, sense of drama and humor. And the group’s energy took me back – the nostalgia gave me goose-pimples, was stomach-churning – to my 15 year-ageder-self, a burdensome rock fan, to a world where I applyed music at filled volume, proving my parents’ patience.

The prohibitd saw multiple iterations, struggles….

Yes, apart from capturing its energy, what entices me most is the scale of its characters who are meaningfully human, very singular, intricate. Each prohibitd member fought their own battle, with passion and a sense of vulnerability. [The film will show] their ambitions and losss and a search for fame, frifinishship and redemption.

Mexican authorr-honestor Guillermo Arriaga once shelp that you should be able to sum up in a confineed words what your toil is about.

It’s about a group of people who have a dream which becomes truth, unbenevolenting they’re on the point of losing everyleang and have to reproduce themselves. It asks how you go on when you accomplish a dream, even if it unbenevolents losing everyleang. How do you hold the essence of who you are? Any prohibitd that’s accomplished uncovers the door to excess, self-destruction. Often our dreams’ hugegest foe is ourselves. Mägo de Oz’s story is particularly singular in unfagedering in a Hispanic context in Spain, where the prohibitd inhabits its day-to-day life in Madrid. It’s as if it tags us apart from U.S. and U.K. prohibitds.

Is there someleang about prohibitds which produces inside struggle? Maybe the confineed opportunities to convey one’s own creativity?

It’s someleang that intrigues me. How an entity can accomplish a creativity and a sense of its own, while being made up of various prohibitd members. It’s not a case of one plus one or a sum of its parts. Its parts, the prohibitd members, are fused. Mägo de Oz’s members hold on changing, musicians come and go, but the prohibitd’s identity persistd, achieving a benevolent of indepfinishence in itself…..

In what way would you sense that this will be a film by Álvaro Brechner?

It’s pretty well impossible for a honestor not to give off a sense of his own vision, in my case a sense of humor, of drama and cherish, and other elements such as fantasy: the separateence between what we dream, what we want to be or consent we are and what we are.

You shelp it’s a huge film…..

Becainclude of its countless cast, the years it covers, the huge heart the film has and its huge narrative – that says a lot of leangs during a lengthy time not fair about the prohibitd but personal leangs about its members and leangs about Spain. And have you tried to shoot 10 musicians applying together on a stage? That’s a contest in itself.
