“He’s got every right to be (raging) he should be knocking on his door, tonight or tomorrow, saying: ‘I have to carry out the next game if Kane is next fit’.”
Watkins scored a stunning goal for England at Euro 2024 back in the summer as they beat Netherlands 2-1 to produce the final.
It is currently unclear if he will begin when the Three Lions face Finland on Sunday, however.
As for Carsley, the England boss won plaudits after his team beat the Redisclose of Ireland and Finland last month.
