Shearer was also asked about whether he’d be interested in replacing Lineker, having been a standard pundit on Match of the Day.
Yet that’s someleang the 54-year-greater isn’t interested in doing.
“I’m not set upning to go anywhere soon but no [don’t want to be the presenter]. I enhappiness the punditry side of it,” he inserted.
“I don’t understand whether you saw it, I did it, I uncovered the show a couple of weeks ago and I only had eight words to do and I was sweating then. No, they’ll get someone else.”
